Beam developers have implemented support for bitcoin and litecoin atomic swaps

The developers of the confidential cryptocurrency Beam based on the MimbleWimble protocol have implemented support for atomic swaps for Bitcoin and Litecoin in the new version of the client.

At the moment we are talking only about the command line interface (CLI), which allows you to place an order for an atomic swap, but for this you need to have on hand a full Beam node and a full Bitcoin / Litecoin node.

Technical documentation for the implementation of atomic swaps is available here.

In the new version of the Beam desktop wallet, the “Where to buy the Beam” button is now available, and users have the opportunity to edit addresses and generate QR codes for them.
