T. Draper: Banks unite against BTC

Many Bitcoin maximalists are confident that the bull market is just around the corner. Most of their forecasts for the parabolic growth of BTC were seriously doubted, although, as we remember, in 2017 the price of the asset rose to $ 20,000.

Now, in anticipation of institutional adoption, the community is paying close attention to the behavior of bitcoin billionaires, whose actions can act as a marker of successful behavior in the market.

For example, the famous billionaire Tim Draper again relies on another growth.

Speaking of altcoins, Draper believes that in the future they will become useless. At the same time, the development of a cryptocurrency ecosystem with high-quality projects can cause a drop in banks and credit card companies, primarily because they “charge up to 4% of the commission for any purchase.”

The billionaire commented on very common rumors that banks are joining together to get rid of Bitcoin:

“The blockchain is distributed, it reliably stores data and is completely transparent. This will change the nature of accounting.

Of course, for accountants (banks) this is a threat, so they will seek to change the situation. But, as you know, technology wins any war. ”

In addition, Draper expressed confidence that the share of Bitcoin will be at least 5% of the global foreign exchange market, at the same time the price will reach $ 250,000.

He did not agree with Nouriel Roubini’s statement that “Bitcoin is much less protected than it’s considered”. He also does not share the opinion of Roubini that banks return stolen money from credit cards, saying that they do not assume such responsibility.

At the same time, he stressed that, unlike banks, Bitcoin was never cracked, so there’s no doubt about Bitcoin security.

At the end of the interview, Draper reassured the viewers about the inexhaustible nature of the blockchain, saying that the best minds in the world are trying to improve the technology. This in turn will change our lives for the better.
