February 2018, Ira Kleiman, the brother of the late computer expert and mathematician Dave Kleiman, who is associated with the creation of Bitcoin, sued Craig Wright, accusing him of misappropriating about 1.1 million BTC, which allegedly belonged to Kleiman. The Australian entrepreneur and mathematician were once partners with W & K Info Defense Research, therefore, in addition to 1.1 million BTC, Ira Kleiman also demands compensation for her brother’s intellectual property. In the next trial of Craig Wright’s case against David Kleiman, the self-proclaimed Bitcoin creator was unable to provide the court with evidence that they had access to the coins associated with the creator of digital gold. Earlier, the Federal Court of Southern Florida, where the trial is underway, demanded that the Australian businessman provide all the addresses of Bitcoin, which he owned as of December 31, 2013, and also confirmed that he has access to them. He was supposed to do this on June 28, but during the meeting he stated that at the moment he could not confirm that he owned the keys of the corresponding addresses. According to him, he transferred the key elements to Kleiman, so at present he cannot perform operations with early bitcoins. The performance of the Australian turned out to be very emotional: from time to time he even cried. In particular, this happened after the judge asked him about the reasons for which he, as the alleged Satoshi, left Bitcoin space.
