The video cameras of a grocery store in Vernon (Canada) filmed the process of robbing Bitcoin-ATM installed in the trading floor. Thieves stole a container with 4 thousand Canadian dollars ($ 3,010), leaving a container with 50 thousand.
The robbery occurred at about 4 in the morning. The store owner noted that the suspects acted confidently, going straight to the Bitcoin ATM, they did not take anything at the store.
Police arrived at the scene after 15 minutes, but the thieves managed to escape. However, their bad luck was not limited to lost production – one of the cars they owned fell into the camera lens. Police identified a gray Nissan Sentra number and are confident in the capture of intruders.
After the incident, the owner of the outlet decided to dismantle Bitcoin-ATM.
Recall that the number of bitcoin ATMs in the world has already exceeded 6,000 thousand units, of which more than 650 are installed in Canada.
